BUILD & GROW VALUE

Building value for the long-term requires a clear vision, scalable processes, and an engaged leadership team who find personal value in growing a business. We work with owners and their teams in honing focus and confidently laying the foundation for a business with robust value.

GROW & SCALE

Growth Management Systems

Every company has a Growth Management System (GMS), or system of operation, whether they realize it or not. The trick is to make your approach to growth as intentional and focused as possible — and no single GMS on the market is a perfect fit for every business. After listening intently to your challenges and goals, we identify the tools and strategies that will be most practical and actionable for you, and work with your team to implement them with a view to measurable change.

THREE COMPONENTS OF A SUCCESSFUL GMS

ORGANIZATIONAL
STRUCTURE

An organization can’t be effective if it doesn’t have a way to verify that the right people are in the right seats. Our assessment tools will help ensure that your team’s roles align with their skills and your growth goals.

SHARED
VISION

You can have the best staff in the world, but if they aren’t aligned with your vision, you won’t realize your growth goals. We work with you to articulate a short- and long-term vision, and map out the business’s future from tomorrow to 10 years out.

ACCOUNTABLE &
ENGAGED LEADERS

Your leadership team needs to recognize that if they don’t get it done, no one will. We accomplish this by empowering leaders to work ON the business, not just IN the business. Together, we develop strategies to ensure that this work is held sacred, and implement tools that facilitate confident decision making..

Predictable Success

Scalable growth requires a clear understanding of where your business is at in its life cycle, and where it may be headed without renewed focus. The Predictable Success program educates nonprofit and for-profit organizations alike to navigate the challenges of growth and demystify their future trajectory. The Vann Group offers several Predictable Success courses, tailored to organizations at different stages of growth and need. Eligible companies may receive a grant to cover 50% of the course fee from the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund.

As businesses grow, they hit foreseeable — but often painful — inflection points: Decision making gets more complex; the “fun” of growing a business turns into a grind; you’re working harder to achieve revenue or profitability that used to come more easily. Here’s the good news: once we know where you’re at in your life cycle, we can start to chart the path to sustainability, scalability, and growth.
